Getting Machu Picchu tickets can seem like a complicated task. There are many websites that sell Machu Picchu tickets and many tour companies that offer tour guides to reach Machu Picchu. If you’re like me, I wanted to get to the ruins without a tour guide, and I wanted to buy the Machu Picchu tickets from the official Machu Picchu website. There are pros and cons to each option.I wanted to roam around freely without being on a restricted schedule. Going on my own allowed me to do as I please. Because of so, I was able to get to Machu Picchu early and not wait for a large group. This page will help you buy your ticket from beginning to end, a step-by-step process.
Here are 8 amazing Machu Picchu photos I was able to capture by going without a tour guide.
